Revity $50K Founder Innovation Grant

Revity is looking to back an Australian founder building technology that solves a genuinely difficult, meaningful problem. Rather than funding the easiest ideas to launch, we want to help founders taking on challenges that require deep product thinking, technical expertise and real execution to bring to life.

Build what is hard to copy

AI has made it easier than ever to ship simple software. That is useful, but it also means easy ideas are copied quickly. The founders we want to support are working in the harder spaces: complex workflows, specialist domains, technical constraints, messy user journeys and problems where execution quality matters.

Revity's Founder Innovation Grant is designed to help one Australian founder turn a meaningful, defensible idea into a more focused, usable and launch-ready product. We are most interested in ventures where product judgement, technical depth and real delivery capability create the advantage.

What the grant can include

  • Product strategy and roadmap definition
  • User problem and feature prioritisation
  • Product management support
  • Technical discovery and solution design
  • Software development resourcing
  • AI product and workflow guidance where relevant
  • Launch planning and delivery support

Who should apply?

This grant is for an Australian founder building, or preparing to build, a technology-enabled product in a difficult problem space. You might have:

  • A clear customer problem that is painful and meaningful
  • A complex workflow that is still handled manually
  • A specialist domain where generic AI tools are not enough
  • Early customer conversations, pilots or demand signals
  • A product concept that needs deep product and engineering support

What we are looking for

A genuinely hard problem

Who you are building for, why the problem matters and why it cannot be solved well with a shallow product.

A focused founder

Someone close to the problem, with the insight and persistence to keep pushing through the hard delivery work.

Defensible product potential

The idea does not need to be fully formed, but it should have room to become meaningful, commercially valuable and hard to copy because the value sits in domain insight and execution depth.

A clear use for the grant

FAQs

Is the grant paid in cash?

No. The $50,000 AUD grant is provided as in-kind Revity services, including product management, technical discovery, software development and delivery support.

Do I need an existing product?

No. You can apply with an early idea, prototype, MVP or live product. What matters is a difficult problem, a committed founder and a practical way Revity's support could help.

Can I apply with co-founders?

Yes. Solo founders and founding teams can apply, provided at least one founder is based in Australia and actively leading the venture.

Do I need to be working on an AI product?

No. The grant is open to broader technology-enabled products. If AI is relevant, Revity can help you apply it practically. We are especially interested in ideas where AI alone is not enough and the real advantage comes from product depth, domain insight and strong execution.
